MicroDucts are small diameter conduits ranging from 5-22mm OD that provide a pathway for fiber cables. They are a natural evolution of standard conduits as space in networks is a premium and as new technologies develop, they typically decrease in size. FuturePath is two or more MicroDucts bundled under an oversheath. Both products can be installed using standard Outside Plant (OSP) installation methods in common applications. Choose the correct product by application and installation method listed below.

Dura-Line manufactures standard High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) conduits for standard installation applications such as standard underground, as innerducts in existing conduits, or corrugated products to use in congested areas. HDPE is a flexible and resilient material. It provides superior resistance to natural or mechanical damage, and has excellent low temperature properties to handle cold weather.

DuraSure Sticks

DuraSure conduit allows for exact depth and location of the conduit after it’s been placed in the ground. The design of DuraSure includes a co-extruded highly conductive copper wire encased in HDPE along the entire length of the conduit. The wire emits a signal that can be traced by a hand-held duct locator, displaying the depth and location.

Manufactured from flexible HDPE, makes gradual bends without special equipment
HDPE Sticks can be joined with a mechanical coupler based on size and applications (Shur-Lock ll, Push-Lock, E-Loc, or Split-Lock +) or joined with butt fusion.
Excellent low-temperature properties allows for installation in cold climates
Outstanding long-term cable protection from shifting ground, rock, and root impingement
